ReplyDeleteDear Michael, I liked your story. Because I have had the same problems, that you have had.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was 16, I was very depressed and started study about my feelings and I concluded that I was depressed and that I needed to go to a psychologist.
Today more chileans are depressed, but they don't think about their feelings. Less they want to talk to a professional. The people prefers to auto-medicate and this is a very bad idea.
If a person are very frequently sad, the most probably is that they need psicological help. If he/she need it, be brave and go to talk with a pychologist.
Michael, you were brave to admit you needed help. Maybe you should not have medicate with drugs, you should consider other options such as Bach Flower Remedies.
Bye Michael, be happy.

ReplyDeleteDear Kristie,
ReplyDeleteWe all have suffered because of our fears, but your story give us motivation to try to manage everything that could gets on our way. you are an example of what everyone who wants to give up should do, you personify the power of will, which leaded you to reach what thousands of people can only dream.
As you are an example of perseverance, I would like to tell you how useful your story is to me. I'm starting my fourth semester at the university, and as everyone, I want to do my best, but so many times it's hard to be cheerfull and carry on with the rhythm of the constant study. bur, if you could overcome your problem, my fear to failure it's nothing. I any case, I've done it before. Thank you for the inspiration,
Paula.
Dear Kristle,
ReplyDeleteI read your story, I've never met a person with anxiety problems, I think your situation must be complicated. However, you're brave because you face fears every day and you study how to solve it. That's why your story is inspirational.
I have heard that there are a lot of people in Chile who suffer of this disease, the important thing is to accept that you have a problem and start working to fix it. There are institutions that can help you and accompany you to control anxiety .
I have never suffered of anxiety, there are times I’ve felt scared or nervous but I’ve always kept calm. If I were in your shoes, I would do the same, because you took a good decision, you should continue working and practing gymnastics because sports activities help you too.
These are tips of heart, regards.
Dear Kristle,
ReplyDeleteI consider your story inspirational, because you found a way to overcome your problems, you managed to address and change everything that affected you in a bad way, not everyone has the mentality and will to do that, it’s just admirable. An important point of what you mentioned is that you used your flaws to your advantage; I think self-acceptance is very important when you want to improve as a person in any way, it’s the first step, after that you can start changing things that you don’t like about yourself.
I feel related to your story in some way, lately I’ve been working on improving myself in every aspect I don’t like about myself, and as you did, I´ve been addressing and changing everything I don’t like about my life. Your story inspires me as I’m now working on overcoming stress from working under pressure.
Keep it up!
Felipe P.
Dear Kristle,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I would like to congratulate you. I´ve read your story and I can imagine the anxiety I would feel being in your position.
You are one of the best in trampoline gymnastics of the whole world, and that puts all eyes people and opinions in everything you do. Everyone is going to judge you, and that is a huge weight to load.
Is awesome that you find the way to deal with this, is difficult to find the way to use our flaws on our advantage, personally I don´t know the way I can do that.
I feel indentify with your story, when I was in school I practice hockey, I was in the principal team. Everyone in the team expect me to play as hard because I was one of the best in the teams, and when I failed in something, everyone was scolding me. So it was dificult for me to find the courage to compete, beacuse of the fear of losing. For that time I never find the way to get over this, so I congratulate you for finding the way.
Your history is inspirational and it could help to motivate a lot of people.
Write more about you!

Dear Kristell
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the story of your life.
You have been very brave all this time to fight your anxiety., is not easy when you should be under pressure and with a lot of people looking for you.
In my first year of the University I had the same problems like you.
I am from La Serena and when I finish the high school I had the opportunity to study in Santiago. The biggest problem for me was that I felt that the professors of my old school and my family expected a lot of me, then i was very anxious always when i had a test or when i received a bad note. However, over the years i learnt that it was only bad conceptions of the reality and that the most important for my parents was that i were happy and enjoy the time in the University.
The most important think to overcome this situation was speak with Friends and others people who felt like me

Dear Kristle,
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing story! It is very inspirational because you found a way to overcome your fears, do what you like and be the best in the world.
I'm from Chile and I think problems like anxiety or panic attacks are a little unknown here. Most of the people who suffer mental illness are ashamed and even many of them don't wanna go to a therapist because is badly seen and is only for crazy people.
It's necessary recognize these problems as illnesses like diabetes or asthma as you say. Life is not easy but every problem has a solution and is on us overcome them.
Thanks for sharing your story. Best wishes.
José Salazar.
Dear Michael:
ReplyDeleteI cant stop thinking about your story, the inspiritation that makes me feel about how we people have to face and subdue our problems its tremendous.
Here in Chile, problems like anxiety and depression are becoming more and more common everyday, but the good side its that also the use of therapy and other meas to overcome this porblemas area also becoming more soccialy accepted, and not like a sign of weakness anymore.
I miself have experienced depression before, and i particular the problems related with anxiety. In my case i have good people to counsel me at the time, so i took a path very similar to yours. And its the best way to dealing with these kinds of problems.
I wish you the best in the years to come.
Thank you.
